The Rotary District 5810 Awards Banquet is a celebration that brings together Rotarians from across North Texas to honor the hard work, dedication, and service projects completed throughout the year. This special evening recognizes clubs and individual members who have gone above and beyond to live out Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self.” From community service initiatives to international projects, the banquet highlights the impact that Rotary has made both locally and globally, while also inspiring members to continue their efforts in the year ahead. 
 
At the Rotary District 5810 Awards Banquet, several remarkable recognitions highlighted the spirit of Rotary service. Bill Frew, Past District Governor, was honored with the prestigious Ethics Award for his unwavering commitment to upholding Rotary’s high ethical standards in both his personal and professional life. Larry Web received the Rotary Star Award, celebrating his outstanding dedication and contributions that have made a meaningful impact within the district. The Prestonwood Rotary Club was also recognized with the Global Clean and Safe Water and International Service Award  for their exceptional efforts in advancing global humanitarian projects, demonstrating Rotary’s vision of creating hope and positive change worldwide.
 
This event also serves as an opportunity to honor outstanding leadership within the district. Special recognitions are given to club presidents, committee chairs, and dedicated Rotarians who have made a lasting difference. It’s a night filled with pride, gratitude, and encouragement, reinforcing the strong spirit of Rotary District 5810.
