On Wednesday, August 6th, Prestonwood Rotary was joined by Nicole and Ansley. Nicole and Ansley spent an unforgettable week at Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), where they were welcomed into a community of young leaders from across the region. From day one, they felt a strong sense of belonging, surrounded by people who encouraged collaboration, friendship, and personal growth. | |||
Through team challenges, workshops, and group discussions, they built confidence and sharpened their leadership skills. Along the way, they gained valuable insight into their own strengths and weaknesses, learning how to use their abilities effectively while working to improve areas of growth. These lessons helped them better understand themselves and how they can positively impact those around them.
Most importantly, Nicole and Ansley embraced the heart of RYLA’s mission — service leadership. They learned that true leadership is about lifting others up and putting the needs of the community first. They returned home inspired, equipped with new skills, and ready to make a meaningful difference wherever they lead.
