Prestonwood Honors Dallas Fire-Rescue -  NBC NEWS

To quote Rotary International President, Shekhar Mehta, "The biggest gift we are given is the power to touch a life, to change, to make a difference in the circle of life..." On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, Prestonwood Rotary Club honored Dallas Fire-Rescue men and women and in particular, three honorees chosen by their leaders.  The three Fire-Rescue honorees (Officer Christopher Davis, Captain Doug Grammer, and Captain Lea Ann Newhouse) joined Prestonwood Rotary Club, family and friends and representatives of the Dallas Fire-Rescue at Cafe de France to honor those who serve and make a difference.  NBC captured the event on Thrusday morning's Wake Up to #Something Good (view segment here), Congratulations to all!

Prestonwood welcomes newest member, Pam Tucker.  Pam has 28 years+ of experience in business and non-profit management.  She is currently a speaker, music minister and ministry leader.  She is married to Mike Tucker and has one daughter Christina, who is a marketing director at a university.  Pam has chosen to become very involved in marketing Prestonwood Flag Lease Program.   We welcome Pam and look forward to her affiliation with Prestonwood.
Partnerships with Cozumel
Recently 7 suitcases full of medical and school supplies, tennis shoes, and dog toys floated to Cozumel on board the Adventure of the Seas.  Regina Edwards, Carrolton-Farmers Branch Rotary and Vickie Campbell, Prestonwood Rotary were excited to donate those items to the Rotary Club of Cozumel.  Royal Caribbean supported Rotary by storing the supplies and arranging for customs.  We hope to soon do another project in Cozumel for Fire-Rescue.

UKRAINE RELIEF
Join in making a difference in the lives of the people in Ukraine as we partner with and support the Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Mukachevo, Ukraine. Over 500,000 refugees have settled in the city of Mukachevo since the beginning of the war, and the Emmanuel SDA Church has opened their doors to help in any way they can.

All of the donations receive will be used to purchase and ship supplies directly to the church as they support and help their fellow Ukrainians who are fleeing war in other parts of the country.

This special project runs now through May 28!

Join in this mission of compassion for the people of Ukraine.
