Domestic Projects

Locally our members have tutored/mentored students at Prestonwood and McShan Elementary schools.  We participate in the annual Salvation Army Angel Tree fulfilling the Christmas wishes of local children through the Salvation Army.  Members participate in Challenger Air Fly days assisting handicap children experience flying an airplane. Members also help in the distribution and gathering of food supplies for families in need, through various organizations:  Feed the City/ Tango Tab, and Feed my Starving Children to name a few.
 
Annually we sponsor local high school students to Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, where leadership skills are highlighted.
 
We sponsor annually Law and Fire Appreciation Days, honoring local Police and Fire personnel.
 

International Projects

Through contributions to The Rotary Foundation and our own club foundation, The Prestonwood Rotary Foundation, we have funded numerous projects improving the lives of children locally and around the world. 
 
Prestonwood Rotary has developed expertise with our sister club in Luanshanya Zambia for water wells located at elementary schools in Zambia, improving local conditions, drilling over 24 water wells.  We have partnered with other District 5810 clubs for water catchment projects in Jamaica at local Jamaican elementary schools. 
 
Prestonwood Rotary is participating in a Vocational Training Grant with the Rotary Club of St. Thomas, USVI.
