PRC WELCOMES RYLA CAMPERS
Prestonwood welcomed our RYLA Camp participants this week.  Although we were able to have two of our four campers, we were excited to learn about their experiences.  Each camper spoke and shared their enthusiasm and thanked PRC for sending them to the camp.  Each of the campers were presented with a Paul Harris pin and certificate.  We are always excited to have our RYLA participants at our meetings and they were invited back at anytime.

BACK TO SCHOOL
Prestonwood Rotary began their Back-To-School program providing The ROC (Metro Ministries) with various school supplies for over 300 school children that are served by The ROC in Garland.  Members made donations of both supplies and additional money to purchase backpacks.  PRC Members were excited to tour and get an idea of the needs of this community.  Needless to say, the children enjoyed themselves at the Back-To-School party as well as having the necessities needed for their school year.

Vocational Service Talks
Darrell Lancaster led this week's meeting with the Rotary Minute - The Rotary Wheel (pictured).  Vocational Talks presented this week by Wlad Meskelis (pictured) and David Echols.  Our vocational talks, given on the first Wednesday of each month, focus on new friendships and getting to learn more about each other.
